The Challenge
For more than 30 years, the clothing industry has been controlled by a few market-leaders who set the order and the pricing for the rest of the world. China has in many years suffered from the Western world constant using their skills and workforce to gain profit – but now, China has become a fair challenger and is capable of competing alongside Europe and America, and has, along with the rest of the world, set their eyes on Africa.
Africa is, compared to the other players on the field, not capable of fighting back: they do not have the money, the power nor the knowledge to reject the companies claiming their land and their workforce.
The Solution
By donating to NGO’s and sending money, you can help some of the people living in poverty – but we believe, that creating work and by giving them a continuously income, we can make them capable of taking care of themselves. No one, not even the Africans, would like to be dependent on a yearly donation to be able to survive.
The Result
By giving them an opportunity to sell their goods online, we can give them a chance to earn their own money, enhance their life quality and give them a chance to provide for themselves. By that, the economy, the power and the force will grow and thereby make them more independent – and equal.
